As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible end-to-end by influencing initial feature specifications, building backend APIs, writing front-end code, and overseeing ongoing improvements to deployed features. About Eventeny
Eventeny is an event operations platform allowing festival and convention organizers to easily access and manage their exhibitors, suppliers, sponsors and volunteers. Today, Eventeny serves over 2,000 major festivals and conventions in the United States, Canada and Australia.

Here’s what you’ll do
● Own what you build while you design, test and refine Eventeny’s suite of products.
● Tackle a wide variety of technical issues across the stack and contribute daily to all parts of the
product codebase.
● Collaborate with other team members to understand customer pain points, find solutions,
then prototype, iterate and launch daily.
● Developed software solutions by studying information needs, discussing with users and studying systems
flows, data usage and work processes.
● Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and
procedures.

● Tested the software development methodology in an agile environment.

Here’s what we’re looking for
● 1 to 4 years of technical experience.
● Passionate about creating memorable customer experiences.
● Interest in complex product development issues – we use HTML5, CSS3, JS, PHP, Python and
SQL.
● Appreciation of a test-driven collaborative environment.
● Is willing to be creative and collaborative.
● Experience in transforming wireframes and mockups into gracefully executed code.
● Well-structured, easily maintainable and well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism.
● Computer science degree preferred.
● Experience with test driven development.
● Really interested in events and new technologies.
● A love for solving problems and innovating workable solutions.
