Research Assistant, Quantum Software Engineering, Center for Quantum Technologies job with NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE

We are looking for a candidate for a Quantum Software Engineering position at the Singapore Quantum Technology Center, working with Divesh Aggarwal, João Doriguello and Alessandro Luongo in the Computer Science group. Successful applicants will work on software for implementing quantum attacks on key cryptographic primitives (for symmetric and asymmetric cryptography). The code will be released as open source software, possibly accompanied by a research release.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science and a basic understanding of quantum computing.
  • Experience with error correcting codes and quantum software development.

Positions are available as soon as possible and can last up to 3 years with possible extension. Salary is very competitive and commensurate with experience, with access to travel funds as well.
