Addverb Tech plans to have 300 employees at Pune Software Development Center by March 2023: Newsdrum

New Delhi, Aug 2 (PTI) Robotics and automation company Addverb Technologies has opened its software development center in Pune with 120 employees.

The Reliance Group company plans to hire an additional 180 staff at the center by the end of March 2023, bringing the total workforce to 300.

“The launch of the new center is part of the company’s vision to become the largest robot manufacturer in the world which will provide capacity for new growth opportunities. The company will start by housing 120 people, and from here By the end of FY’23, it expects to employ an additional 180 people,” Addverb said in a statement on Tuesday.

Pune is a strategic choice for the new center and will help improve its service network in South and West India. It is also a quality base for engineering and management schools, which would help the company tap into local talent working on technologies such as AI, ML and the cloud, said the co- founder of Addverb Technologies, Satish Shukla.

The new center will include software development, IT support, IT infrastructure, automation, marketing and business development teams.

Addverb provides warehouse automation solutions to different customers in various industries including FMCG and Pharmaceutical. They include Unilever, Reliance, Flipkart, Amazon, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Marico, Dabur, ITC and Patanjali.

The center will help Addverb improve its delivery network and provide innovative software solutions to its customers in the field of robotics and automation, the statement said.

The company has operations in Singapore, Australia, the Netherlands and the United States and directly and indirectly employs over 2,000 people in India.

Addverb plans to make its Greater Noida unit one of the largest robotic manufacturing facilities in the world by creating 3,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities. It already has a world-class manufacturing plant, an R&D center and an experience center called Bot Valley which employs around 800 people. PTI PRS RAM RAM
